Together they established long-term strategies to support schools and to end isolation and suicide among young people.
Dan and Joy have been married for 27 years. They raised four children and served in the local church for 26 years. Now they work full-time as peace ambassadors, bringing hope to people in need around the globe. Traveling in and out of refugee camps, prisons and hospitals, they share God’s love for those that have been displaced and disregarded.
Both with competitive athletic backgrounds and strong driven personalities, Dan and Joy have weathered years of learning what it means to be submitted under God while being mutually submitted to each other, often with painful consequences. They share honestly about their struggles and how they are finding victory through persistence, humility, and ancient wisdom provided in the scriptures.
